Portobello Parm Sandwiches


  • 4 Portobello mushrooms, whole
  • 1 log fresh mozzarella
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 4 whole grain buns
  • MID'S Tomato Basil Sauce, as desired


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Clean four large portobello mushrooms and cut off stems.
Coat each mushroom cap with olive oil and garlic, then place on baking stone in the oven for 20 minutes.
While baking the mushrooms, slice fresh mozzarella and whole grain buns. 
When mushrooms are baked, set on buns with mozzarella, then top with fresh basil and MID'S Tomato and Basil sauce.


Serving Information

Serve fresh out of the oven.
