Layered Spinach and Ground Beef Casserole

This dish is perfect for meal-preppers and big families alike! This delicious flavor has the spice from our Italian Sausage and Peppers Sauce and the creaminess of the cheesy top layer!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 1/2 cups of rigatoni
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • 8 ounces of fresh baby spinach
  • 1/2 a jar of MID'S Italian Sausage and Peppers Sauce
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 1/2 cups of Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 cups of Parmesan cheese
  • Cheery tomatoes as desired

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Use a 3-quart casserole and either use cooking spray or butter the dish. Bring 5 cups of water to a boil and then add 3 cups of noodles. In a pan, add MID'S Italian Sausage and Peppers Sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper over low heat until simmering. Add the noodles. In a large mixing bowl, add spinach, Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, garlic salt, and egg. Once thorough mixed, add noodles. Pour the mixture into the casserole dish and top with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly. 

Serving Information

Serve hot or save for later! Garnish with cherry tomatoes as desired.
