Mom's Braciole


  • 1-1/2 lbs. thinly sliced round steak, cut into 4-5 pieces
  • 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp. fresh minced parsley
  • 4-5 slices bacon, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 jar MID'S Sauce, any flavor


Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a medium bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley and bacon. Season with salt and pepper.
Spread mixture on each beef slice. Roll up each beef slice and tie with kitchen string.
Heat olive oil in Dutch oven over medium high heat. Sauté beef rolls until browned on all sides.
Pour MID'S Sauce over beef rolls, scraping up browned bits from bottom of pan. Bring to boil.
Cover, transfer to the oven and bake for 1-1/2 hours or until beef is tender. Remove string.
Slice rolls and arrange on platter with sauce. Serve with pasta.
