Meatball Subs


  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 French baguette
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper as desired
  • 1 1/2 cup of MID'S Mideo's Marinara Sauce
  • 4 slices of provolone cheese


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic, parsley, parmesan cheese and egg. Shape into 12 meatballs and put on baking sheet 1 inch apart from another. 
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the oven. While the meatballs cook, cut the baguette in half lengthwise.
Cut out some bread to create space for the meatballs. Drizzle olive oil and season with garlic powder and salt.
Toast the baguette in the oven until lightly toasted. While the bread toasts, warm MID'S Mideo's Marinara Sauce in a pan over medium heat.
Once meatballs are cooked, sauté them in the MID'S sauce
Spoon onto the baguette and top with slices of provolone cheese.
Melt the cheese on the sandwiches in the oven for 3 minutes.

Serving Information

Cut baguettes into desired serving sizes, plate and enjoy!
