Maple Sausage Penne Pasta

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 package maple sausage links
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 jar MID'S Meatless Sauce
  • 1 box penne pasta noodles
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • Shredded mozzarella, to finish on top of pasta

DIRECTIONS

Cut yellow onion and green peppers in strips and set aside.
Cut maple sausage links into 1/2 inch slices.
Cook sausage in pan until done.
Add cut green peppers and onion into pan with the sausage.
Add jar of MID'S Meatless Sauce to sausage, pepper and onion mixture in pan.
Add 1 tsp maple syrup to mixture.
Cook on med/low heat.
Cook penne pasta according to package and drain.
Add strained penne pasta to sauce mixture and incorporate.
Cook on low heat until it is hot and incorporated well.
Serve up with shredded mozzarella on top of the hot pasta.
