Low-carb Stuffed Peppers

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 large red bell peppers
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 jar MID'S Italian Sausage & Peppers Sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • Dash salt & pepper
  • 2 tbsp. sugar

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut three peppers in half clean them.
Mix all ingredients, stuff peppers and top with MID'S Sauce. Bake for 1 hour.
Optional: Top with mozzarella after baking.
