Mummy Bites

Ingredients

1 jar of MID's Pizza Sauce
18-20 mini chicken sausage links (pre-cooked)
1 frozen sheet of puff pastry
1 egg
candy eyes

Directions

Thaw puff pastry according to box directions (approximately 30-40 minutes)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Prepare egg wash by mixing 1 egg yolk and 2 tsp. of water then set aside
Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper
Cut puff pastry into 1/2 inch strips
Wrap each sausage link like a mummy with a puff pastry strip and place on baking sheet
Once all sausage links are wrapped, brush each one with egg wash
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until puff pastry is golden brown
Remove from oven, cool for 10 minutes, and place candy eyes on each mummy bite
Pour MID's Pizza Sauce in small bowls for dipping, or dollop spoonfuls of sauce onto serving platter. Enjoy!
