This delicious chili easily freezes so double the batch and place half in freezer safe containers and freeze for up to 3 months. Defrost and reheat as needed during those super busy weeks of shuttling kids around!
1) Add sweet and hot turkey sausage to the meat mixture for a more robust flavor and meatier chili. Remove sausage from casings first.
2) Use a Mid’s Meat sauce for a two-meat chili
3) Freeze in individual freezer containers and put in refrigerator on a Sunday afternoon so lunch is ready to go for the workweek!
